In January and February 2022, we provided our blogging services to their website, which not just helped in stabilizing their dwindling traffic networks but also paved a path for further growth in the future by streamlining their content creation process.

In this case study, we intend to show you, with empirical evidences, how our blogging services helped Buddy Loan website’s SEO rankings and how our thorough keyword research led us this way. We created long-form blogging content for them with more than 60,000 words of requirement. Let’s see how we made it all work:
The Process
Keyword Magic Tool
The intent of the keyword research is to identify a number of likely keywords to target. Our focus is on key phrases and long-tail search strings.
In case of Buddy Loan, if you glace through the screenshot below, you’ll find phrases like “instant personal loan,” “instant loan app”, and “instant loan online” in the keyword column. We used the Keyword Magic Tool on Semrush for it.
These keywords serve as the basis for creating blog plans and determine which keywords should be stringed with what content.
However, there are two more factors that affect our judgement of which keyword to choose: keyword difficulty and volume.
The former is the difficulty to rank a certain keyword in a search engine’s organic results and the latter is the an SEO indicator that provides information on a monthly basis of searches for a particular keyword in a certain region. You can see both these in boxes in the above screenshot.
A perfect keyword is one that is clearly and explicitly relevant to the website, has a reasonable amount of search volume, and is competitively underutilised.
Keyword Positioning
We also use the Organic Position Changes report to search a domain and learn which keywords we are gaining and losing ground on. We generally use this report to analyze our client’s website to determine how the keyword rankings are changing.

Meta Tags and Descriptions
We write fresh title tags, meta tags, and descriptions for each blog post according to our SEO site plan. These tags were not only carefully crafted to target the high-value keywords that were selected, but they were also written clearly to improve the user experience as a whole.
Long-form Blog Content
The readership of a website can ask questions, acquire useful information, and focus on particular keyphrases using long-form blog updates. A site’s authority grows if it consistently posts new and engaging content, which also assists in its ascent. For Buddy Loan too, we created such long-form blog posts having more than 2,000 words.
Position Tracking
It becomes important to track down the progress once we start putting SEO changes into practice. We have been using the Position Tracking tool to monitor such developments every day. This tool enables us to determine whether the improvements we are making to the client’s website are indeed improving their rankings. Buddy Loan have been able to watch their rankings improve across all channels and effectively implement our content marketing strategies.
The Results
We noticed that the website’s traffic data started to go up to page one of the SERPs in just a few days. A couple of weeks later, as the website’s visibility grew, so did the number of sales leads and conversions (as we were told by our clients).
The organic traffic increased from 27k in January 2022 to 28k in March 2022. This might seem a marginal increase but this came at crucial juncture when Buddy Loan website’s numbers were dwindling. We were able to stablize the situation which later paved the way for further growth.
Moreover, if we look at the organic keyword trend in the screenshot below, the picture becomes more clear about how and in what direction we worked. The organic traffic reached its peak (2191) in the year 2021-22 in February 2022, when our efforts from the previous month started paying off.
The most number of new keywords position were also added in February 2022, with a total of 1,444 and 343 is improved. This can be attested from the screenshot attached below.
