DrapeFit Case Study: Increasing Your Website’ Organic Traffic by 1000% with Blogging Services

In this case study, we will go over the SEO approach for one of our clients, Drapefit, an e-commerce website as a personal styling service.

The client approached us in July 2021, intending to increase their organic traffic and search engine rankings for the most crucial keywords in their industry.

They were hoping to get on a consistent upward slope after having mixed results working on the website’s SEO on their own.

For an entire year till July 2022, July-August 2021 became the beginning point for organic traffic growth. The organic traffic of Drapefit’s webiste grew by 1024% in this period. 

We will see how One Digital Land have been able to pull this off later, but first let us delve more into detail of what numbers have to say about the Drapefit success story.

What Numbers Say

The amount of organic traffic growth, the improvement in keywords ranking, the success of content pieces, and the expansion of backlinks and referring domains are all factors we consider when assessing the efficacy of the SEO strategy. The changes in these KPIs in the period between July 2021 to July 2022 for our client are explored below:

Organic Traffic Growth

Since we began working together in July 2021, organic traffic has been progressively growing. Overall, data for July 2021 and July 2022 show a 1024% rise. As you can see in the screenshot below, the organic traffic was just 242 when we began, and since we worked for them, we have been able to carry it to 2,548/month.

Improvement in Authority Score

The increased DA score is one of the key signs of our content marketing success. The authority score of our client’s website went from 19 in October 2021 to 44 in May 2022, an increase of 230% in just six months. The likelihood that their website will perform highly on search engine results (SERPs) pages has increased with a high score.

Growth in Keyword Ranking

When analyzing the volume of organic search keywords, we can observe that over a year, the volume of keywords ranked Top-3 has doubled, those ranked 4–10 have tripled, and keyorsd ranked 11–100 have increased by more than seven times. Check the image below to this trajectory:

Backlinks and Referring Domain Growth

There is an ascending curve for both referring domains and backlinks. The number of referring domains has more than doubled between July 2021 and the same month in 2022. The number of backlinks has also increased almost the same and nearly doubled from last year.

Drapefit ranked for 1,211 keywords in July 2021 when we began with them. However, out of these, only three keywords appeared in the top-3 SERP results.

These statistics increased over the course of six months considerably. Ranked keywords have increased to 3260 in July 2022, with 74 in top-3 SERP results. Keywords in top-3 SERP results increased by 28% at this time.

The top titles are identified and selected on the basis of these keywords. 

We will not go much into detail about how these titles are identified, and a blog plan is created, but when the process is completed, it looks something like this:

Checking Gains and Losses

We also use the Organic Position Changes report to search our client’s domain to see the keywords we are gaining and losing ground on. Finally, we review the client’s website using this information and monitor changes to the keyword rankings. 

As you can see in the screenshot below, that we have been able to gain 2,134 keywords in July 2022, which in an all-time high for the website. 

Conclusion

There is no point in wasting time for businesses to begin a blogging editorial on their website, as it has been shown that blogging as a marketing medium is still alive. And as shown in the case of Drapefit, the website’s traffic and keywords gained considerably in the concerned period.
